Directions from Ashton-under-Lyne Bus Station
Leave the station by the front entrance onto Wellington Road. When you reach Wellington Road, turn right and walk past the Prince of Orange pub. Continue walking up Wellington Road until you pass Tameside Council Offices on your right-hand side. Continue up the road, passing both a taxi rank and the refurbished market hall. Ahead of you, on the corner near the traffic lights you should see a pub called the Bowling Green. The Volunteer Centre is next door to the pub.
Directions from Ashton-under-Lyne Train Station
Leave the station by the entrance on Wellington Road. You'll see Tameside Council Offices (a large angular brown building) directly in front of you. Cross Wellington Road, turn left and begin walking up the road. After the council offices, you should pass a taxi rank and the refurbished market hall. Ahead of you, on the corner near the traffic lights you should see a pub called the Bowling Green. The Volunteer Centre is next door to the pub.
