Volunteer Centre Tameside holds a vision of active communities in Tameside, supported through the development of volunteering activity to enhance local organisations and communities. We work in partnership with the public and corporate sectors to facilitate maximum opportunities for involvement of individuals, organisations, and communities in improving the quality of life for all Tameside residents.
How we can Help your Organisation
Do you struggle to find the "right" volunteers? Wonder if you are doing things the right way? Have so much work to do that you don't know whether you're coming or going? Want to find time to change things but unsure how? We can help! Working together with free 1-2-1 support from trained Volunteer Centre Tameside staff we can help you realise your potential and achieve more for yourself and your volunteering programme.
Recruitment of Volunteers
Steps to registering your volunteer vacancy:
- Contact us to book your free organisational visit.
- Complete "Organisation Registration Form".
- When you have completed the form and returned it to us, we will advertise your voluntary opportunities.
- Send us posters & leaflets about your volunteering needs and we will display these in our Volunteer Centre and at our outreach sites.
- We will also promote your volunteer opportunities in house and on relevant web sites
In addition we can offer your organisation information, support and advice on all issues related to volunteering. Your volunteer vacancy could be advertised on these web sites: The National Volunteering Database - do-it, our website and our Facebook & Twitter pages.
The Volunteer Coordinators' Forum
Volunteer Coordinators' Forum provides a valuable opportunity for Volunteer Coordinators/Managers to learn, share and network over lunch. The Forum provides training around volunteering issues, opportunities to meet others in a similar role and share information. If you would like to join the Forum please contact us.
