The help we can offer for individuals

Train to Gain

Last year, only 47% of school leavers achieved 5 GCSEs grade A to C including English and Maths. Today, there are six million British adults without basic skills, yet jobs for only three million; by 2020, there will be just 1/2 million unskilled jobs.

Train to Gain gives the opportunity to unlock hidden potential, remove stigma and further qualify the existing workforce. Train to Gain is primarily aimed at employed individuals but it’s recognised that there is a community of unpaid volunteers who perform similar tasks to those of an employee and where these volunteers are identified within a workplace they should be afforded the same access to vocational learning through Train to Gain as an employee.

The following qualifications are open to volunteers:-
