We run a variety of projects, subject to funding and demand. The projects currently run from the centre include:-
Miles of Smiles
A community transport scheme involving volunteers taking who are unable to use public transport, to and from health-related appointments.
Time Banking in Tameside
Time Banking in Tameside is an exciting new project available to everyone. You can get someone to wash your car, collect a prescription or even give you sports lessons for FREE! All we ask is that you give a small amount of time when you can to someone else who needs it.
Brighter Futures
Brighter Futures is a project designed to help you into work by using volunteering to build skills and experience.
Breaking the Record
Thanks to a recent successful bid to the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation we will soon be offering training and support to volunteer recruiting organisations to work with ex-offenders.
